EMS CONFERENCE 2019 - BETTER THAN LAST YEAR!
Had a great turnout today at our 2nd annual EMS Conference today. All said and done, we doled out 663 hours of continuing education today to 102 providers. Thanks to all of the great speakers that took time to share their experiences and expertise in their respective fields. Bill Qualls from the Mass States Police Bomb Squad and Travis Rebello from the state hazmat team spoke on clandestine drug labs. Ana Silvia and Sean Kenny, both from Zoll Medical Corporation reviewed the Zoll Life Vest. Mark Tenerowicz, EMS Medical Director from Beth Isreal Deaconess Lahey in Plymouth did his now famous EMS Buffet lecture. Our last speaker was Dave Fletcher, Massachusetts OEMS Ambulance Inspector reviewed the ambulance inspector process. Our event was sponsored this year. Our sponsors showed their products during our lunch break. Ferno- Washington, AT@T FirstNet, Zoll Medical, the BID-Plymouth. Thank you to the American Legion Post 40 for allowing us to host our conference this year. Thanks to Sanne Schneider for helping out today with logistics, etc. Finally, last but certainly not least, I would like to thank my wife, Donna Torrey. She helped put this conference together. From logistics to coordinating the food for today, checking in providers and keeping up with paperwork. Couldn’t have done this without her. Looking forward to next years conference.
